Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A search term entered into a sponsored tool is sent to the independent provider that operates that tool. Its own privacy terms govern the query and any result. Morehouse Parish Court Docket does not maintain a court-record database or turn those entries into a file about a visitor.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When a visitor sends a message, the contact details and message may be retained long enough to respond or administer the service. They are not sold. Disclosure may occur when a valid legal obligation requires it.
Data We Gather Automatically
Like most websites, the service and its providers may receive technical visit information:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies and analytics can measure aggregate traffic and page performance. Browser controls can limit cookies, although some functions may then work differently. Analytics data is used in aggregate where possible.
What We Do With This Data
- Operate, secure, and improve the service
- Route a request to the search provider selected by the visitor
- Measure page use and diagnose technical faults
- Support advertising or referral arrangements where applicable
No Court-Record Data on File
This site does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of Morehouse Parish court dockets or personal case records. It identifies official access channels such as the Morehouse Parish Clerk, Fourth Judicial District Court, and eClerks LA. Louisiana Code of Civil Procedure articles 251 and 253 govern clerk custody, inspection, filing, and protected identifiers, while Louisiana's Public Records Act, R.S. 44:31 et seq., addresses public-record access. Those rules do not make this private resource a court custodian or a consumer reporting agency.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside providers run the search boxes. Any entry sent to one of those tools is governed by that provider's policy, including its retention and sharing rules. Review that policy before submitting information.
Links to Other Websites
Links to the Morehouse clerk, Fourth JDC, eClerks LA, and other resources open services controlled by those organizations. Their policies apply after a visitor leaves this site. Review them before submitting personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own technology for measurement or interest-based advertising. That activity is governed by the provider's terms.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. It may be processed by:
- A selected search provider for a submitted query
- Service, analytics, or advertising providers acting for their own stated purposes
- A public authority when lawfully required
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable safeguards are used for data handled by this service. No internet transmission or system can be promised completely secure, so visitors should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. A parent or guardian may request review of information believed to have been submitted by a child.
Your Data Rights
Louisiana court-record access rules, including La. C.C.P. arts. 251 and 253 and R.S. 44:31 et seq., concern official records held by their custodians. For personal data held by this private service, a visitor may request:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may change as the service changes. The current version will be posted here with an updated effective date.
